Dr. Pierre was born in Puerto Rico. He received his medical education from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Family Medicine Residency program. He served as a Flight Medicine Physician in the US Air Force for many years.
After retiring from the service, Dr. Pierre worked at clinics in Omaha and Council Bluffs. In 2011, he became one of the founding physicians of the Sancta Familia Medical Apostolate in Omaha. Dr. Pierre has been the medical director for Urgent Care Omaha clinics since December 2013.
Elizabeth (Beth) Purvis-Jeffry is a critical care and family certified nurse practitioner with 12 years of nurse practitoner experience. She graduated from UNMC with her BSN in 2006 and specialized in the cardiac population at Nebraska Medicine. She then obtained her first advanced license in family medicine in 2012 working in family medicine and transitioning back to the hospital full time as an inpatient nurse practitioner. She returned to school for a secondary nurse practitioner certification in critical care medicine which was obtained in 2016. Beth has over 9 years of urgent care experience and joined the urgent care staff in 2024.
Kelly Thelen has over 24 years of experience as a Family Nurse Primary both in primary care and urgent care settings. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center- Lincoln campus in 1995. She received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1999. Kelly joined Bellevue Urgent Care full time in November 2022, and now provides coverage at all of the Urgent Care Omaha clinics.
Tram Huynh, PA-C attended University of Nebraska Omaha for her undergrad in Sociology: Concentration in Health. She earned her Physician Assistant degree at College of Saint Mary. She started her career at a Family Practice and Urgent Care clinic before joining Urgent Care of Omaha in September 2024 and providing coverages at all of our locations as needed.
